ADAMS & WESTLAKE SIDE LAMP - MODEL 392 FOR A CABOOSE
This beautiful Adams Side Lamp was a generous gift from Drew Meyer. I am very honored to now have it in my collection. It is rather fascinating how this was constructed in order to stay 100% stable and safe in a caboose mounted on the wall.
The top bracket with the spring holder keeps the globe in place in the event the lamp were to tip and the bottom bracket holds the fuel fount.
The burner is a No. 2 Dual burner (2 wicks are in the burner). On each side of the burner is clip which is also a safety feature. The downside is that it is very difficult to unlatch and remove the glass globe, yet this would be necessary in order to be safe in the Caboose.
