1920's SWISS ARMY FOLDING CANDLE LANTERN WITH CANVAS-LEATHER POUCH

ORIGINAL SWISS MILITARY FOLDING CANDLE LANTERN WITH ORIGINAL CANVAS & LEATHER POUCH AND CANDLE.  CIRCA:  1920's

THIS CAME OUT OF FORT de LITROZ AND HAS NEVER BEEN USED. The lantern is made from Stainless steel and has mica lenses. Once lit, this lantern is wind proof. On the bottom of the lantern it has stamped 'St. N'.  This most likely is the inventory identification.

The canvas and leather pouch is in extraordinary condition. It has the Swiss cross stamped on the strap.  It is an ingenious construction which makes this extremely portable, lightweight and small.

This fabulous treasure was made possible by my dear friend in Switzerland, Mr. Jean-Charles Moret.  Thank you Mr. Moret!
