FRIEDRICH STÜBGEN - BAT Nr. 155 with Orkan Globe
This is an exceptional example of the Bat Nr. 155. It is in original condition, including the red paint on the burner cone and filler cap. This lantern is the smallest of BAT Lantern models. It was only produced for a very short time between 1936 - 1939. The Bat Nr. 155 was introduced during the same time period of the Feuerhand's Atom 75.
In the photo gallery above, you can see them side by side for comparison.
The globe, which fits the lantern model Orkan 666, is in pristine condition. On one side, it is embossed ORKAN; made in Germany. On the other side, it is embossed with a graphic of a arm/hand lighting a lantern and the words:
"Indifferent" which is a trade mark of the glass works Gebrüder Putzler, Penzig - Oberlausitz and "Eingetragene Schutzmarke" = registered trademark. *This globe is dated 1938.
This lantern was only lightly cleaned and polished so as to retain the original patina. The inside of the tank is sparkling and overall, it did not show much signs of use, if any. There was no kerosene odor present at all.
CIRCA: 1936 - 1939

Hello Philip,
As with any lantern, it all depends on condition and the current market conditions. You can use the main contact form to reach out to me and then we can exchange emails and photos.
