FROWO Nr. 240 with HUND (Pup) on the fuel fount

Fröhlich and Wolter (FROWO) Nr. 240 with Hund (Pup) on fuel Fount

This came with an original clear globe.  It now has a beautiful old German made Cobalt blue globe.  This lantern is the same size as the Feuerhand Nr. 260.

When it arrived to me, it was spray painted blue with white paint underneath.  Once the paint was stripped, it had major rust issues especially on the bottom of the tank.  It was almost rusted completely off.  It has now been soldered and sealed.

This is a pre-war Frowo Nr. 240 as indicated by the embossed pup on the fuel fount.

Circa: 1933 - 1940 (?)

Hi Bengt Edqvist! I can answer your question, but I need you to use the main contact form so I can get your email. Can you do that and then I'll help you out with the stuck wick.

I newly bought one, but with clear glass and a bat on the glass. But it says 240 and there is a dog. It's very rusty, I can get off the lid for fuel but not for that textile thing. Any tip?
