HASAG Nr. 31 'Alcohol' Stove - Kocher
This is a very rare and early Hasag Kocher *Stove. It uses Alcohol for fuel. I purchased this Hasag from a seller in Poland. It was extremely rusty and I had doubts about being able to take it apart without damaging the original screws and bolts. As you can see from the photos, it turned out beautiful. The combination of copper and brass certainly is a plus. The stove is now fully functional.
The last few photos show the stages of lighting the stove.
Given that there was a fair amount of original Black Enamel paint left, this will not be repainted. Once again, the condition of this stove is part of the stoves history.
It is also noteworthy that there was no information that I was able to find on this model stove. It was with the kind help of Hans-Werner Jehn and his amazing archives that I was able to date this stove.
