FRÖHLICH & WOLTER Nr. 105
with Pup on fuel fount and glass globe
This is a very early model of the Frowo Nr. 105 and differs greatly in build compared to my other Frowo
Nr. 105 models. Most notable is where the top of the air tubes meet the the chimney area and also the design of the burner. The lantern is extremely well constructed.
The lantern is is exceptional shape and retains almost 100% of the original tin.
The cage is original to this lantern and it is badly bent out of shape. The metal used in making these globe guards is so thick and strong, but it is better to leave it as it is rather than risk breaking it apart.
UPDATE 3/3/2020: I found a replacement globe guard cage which came from an early Nier Turtle Lantern. It fits perfectly as seen in the main photo.
